Assisted Living
O’Connor Woods offers two exceptional Assisted Living options within our 34-acre campus. Oak Creek features one-bedroom and studio alcove apartments, and Garden Oaks features studio and deluxe studio apartments.
Oak Creek and Garden Oaks are licensed RCFE (License # 390314809), designed to provide non-nursing assistance in activities of daily living and some supervision of medical conditions. Floor plans range from a studio to a deluxe one-bedroom apartment. Daily assistance is designed to help residents maintain an active and independent life style. The monthly fee for assisted living includes:
- Three nutritious and delicious meals a day
- Medication supervision
- Full-time professional nursing staff
- Basic personal care services include bathing and dressing assistance
- All utilities including cable TV
- Regular housekeeping
- Personal laundry service
- Transportation available for medical appointments and shopping
- 24-hour security

Assisted Living residents enjoy an inspirational journey
Sr. Ruth (far right), leads a weekly group of Garden Oaks and Oak Creek residents on an inspirational journey. She invites them to enjoy short excerpts and stories by people both famous or little known who describe the discovery of meaning in their lives. On occasion, poetry may be the subject of reflection as well as some well-remembered stories from the years of childhood. The selection then becomes a springboard for discussion in which residents share their own reflections about the story or poem and the insights or inspirations it may have offered them about their own experience. Residents are also invited to share stories, objects, songs, and pictures that have special meaning for them.
