Cook IReq # OCW 04-03-2013 ResponsibilitiesThe primary purpose of this position is an entry-level cook's position for the beginning cook who is willing to take instruction in cooking techniques and kitchen skills. This position will work under the general supervision of the Cook II & III, the Sous Chef, and the Executive Chef. The person in this position will prepare and serve food products for the residents and customers, will follow proper procedures for receiving food and food storage, will perform assigned sanitation duties, assigned record-keeping duties, and other duties as assigned. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organization’s strategic plan and the goals. Performs sanitation duties, assigned record-keeping functions, and other duties as assigned. Demonstrates positive interpersonal communication skills with co-workers, supervisor and other personnel.
